The AIOC Solder Guide is a necessary addition to the unsoldered AIOC to get the jack spacing correct. Our solder guide is made from PETG for higher temperature protection when soldering. These guides are also precision drilled out to have a perfect snug fit on the 2.5mm and 3.5mm jack.
A solder guide of some type is necessary for AIOC assembly, but you can print this yourself or use an old radio (that you don't mind possibly destroying).
The STL for the guide is available here from the AIOC github.
If you order an unsoldered AIOC, one solder guide can be added for free. 1 free solder guide per order applied at checkout.

Excellent guide for assembly.
Assembly was straightforward. The plastic jig held the plugs in place for soldering.
I originally planned to buy one AIOC kit, but decided that the solder guide would probably be a good investment. It WAS! It aligns the plugs quite well. When I had decided to spend the extra money for the guide, I figured my chance of success with the kit would be better, so I ordered a second AIOC kit at the same time. Worth it!
