Streamline your ham radio setup with the AIOC, the "All-in-one-Cable". Eliminate the hassle of multiple separate cables for programming, audio, and PTT functions. Simplify your communications and stay connected with ease. This small, powerful USB-C adapter enables programming and digital modes for many handheld radios.

The AIOC works as a COM/Serial port for programming many radios and as a sound card for digital modes. Works with DireWolf, APRSDroid, CHIRP, VaraFM, AllStarLink (and probably many more, but not tested).

All assembled AIOCs shipped by NA6D come pre-flashed with the latest v1.2.0 firmware and are fully function tested. NA6D's AIOCs are lead-free. Requires a USB-C cable, not included.

Compatible with Linux, MacOS, and Windows 10 (or later).

Compatible with radios using Kenwood-style connectors, including most Baofengs. Not compatible with ICOM or Yaesu radios.

The AIOC is an open source design by Simon Küppers. Read more about the device at https://github.com/skuep/AIOC

So far, I haven't been able to get it to work. Not sure why. I am trying to build an ASL3 hot spot with a rpi3 and a Baofeng uv5r. It keeps hanging on PTT at boot up. Once it clears, after several minutes, it signals the COS in and out as if it is receiving something. I'm about to abandon it.

Hi Bryan,

Nigel here, owner of NA6D. I'm truly sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with your AIOC and appreciate you sharing your feedback.

I've already sent you a direct email with troubleshooting steps. Issues like PTT hang-ups and unexpected COS signaling are often related to common factors such as RF interference or audio level adjustments.

We're committed to helping you get this resolved! Please check your inbox for my message, and I look forward to assisting you further.

73,
Nigel

Worked fine. Took over 16hrs of hacking to get it to work with RPi4 64bit. The instructions clearly ask for 32bit; but I haven't built a 32bit system in 10years. Python3 library issues plagued me for days.

Finally got it working with a 1.3vcop hack from online. Crazy frustrating to get it to work; but now its working well.
